Games Workshop Reddit Reviews
Games Workshop is a UK-based company producing miniature wargames and tabletop games. They’re best known for their Warhammer 40k and Age of Sigmar game systems, but they also produce a number of niche products targeted at veteran gamers.
They’ve been getting a lot of flack lately because of how they handle their product releases (they do “splash” releases once a month). This has led to some hobbyists being uneasy about buying and adopting new products from GW, which is leading to lower sales in the short-term.
Warhammer
The tabletop game Warhammer is one of the world’s most successful strategy games. It’s been around for over 30 years, and has brought countless generations of gamers into the world of strategy gaming.
Total War: Warhammer is a turn-based strategy game where each faction has its own unique campaign, units and gameplay mechanics. From the Chivalrous knights of Bretonnia, to the valiant Dwarfs and vengeful Orcs, each race is a complete entity with its own story and battlefield tactics.
There are a number of different battle systems in Total War: Warhammer, but the real-time battles in the second half of the game are extremely beautiful and cinematic. The unit models are beautifully animated, and the graphics are incredibly detailed.

The new Rules Set includes a 96-page hardback book containing all the rules needed to play games of Adeptus Titanicus, plus a host of accessories including Command Terminals and Battlefield Assets. Additionally, this edition of the rules includes a 224-page campaign compendium with 27 narrative missions and a full campaign system.
Battlefleet Gothic
Battlefleet Gothic is a classic tactical space game from Games Workshop that pits the Chaos, Imperium, Eldar, and Orks against each other in visceral space-battles. Despite being out of print for over 6 years, Battlefleet Gothic remains a great addition to any Warhammer tabletop collection.
The campaign in Battlefleet Gothic is set during the 12th Black Crusade, a conflict between the Imperium and Abbadon the Despoiler. Spireās fleet of Ork Pirates, Eldar Corsairs, and rogue Imperial Navy vessels must defend the Gothic Sector against the forces of Chaos.
Epic Armageddon
Epic Armageddon is a tabletop war game set in the fictional world of Warhammer 40,000. Whereas Warhammer 40,000 games typically involve small battles between forces consisting of a few squads of troops and a few vehicles, Epic games feature larger-scale battles between armies that include dozens of tanks and thousands of soldiers.
Unlike other Games Workshop games, Epic is not a generic ruleset; each army is based on how it was fielded in a specific campaign. This is a major benefit to the game as it makes each deployment unique and more exciting.
Inquisitor

The game is set in the Caligari sector of the Imperium, a place where battle-scarred worlds litter the landscape and where war rages between opposing factions. The game offers a huge range of missions, a persistent universe and regular updates.

Blood Bowl
Blood Bowl is a tabletop fantasy football game based in the Warhammer world. It has one of the lowest barriers to entry of any Games Workshop game, making it a great choice for newcomers.
Its basic gameplay involves a match between two teams – Humans and Orcs – who take turns blocking, moving and advancing the football down the field. Players can also use shoulder charges, kicks and punches to attack opponents.
Whenever a player action fails, a āturnoverā occurs. This is the defining feature of Blood Bowl, sustaining tension throughout the turn and rewarding coaches who are careful to prioritise actions which are most important to their team.
