Then, you’ll want to define the corresponding action for each key in the trigger. This will ensure that the key map is always activated in the right order and will also allow you to remap the action to a new key if necessary.

Waypoints

Waypoints are locations that have been marked on the map with a name and some information like an icon or description. They can be used as a reference point to locate the exact location of a target.

They are typically associated with a distinctive feature of the real world, such as mountains, buildings, roadways, waterways, railways or other natural features. However, abstract waypoints are increasingly being used for navigation purposes.

To create a waypoint, simply select a set point along the route in the Route Planner and press “Create waypoint”. You can give it a title, assign one of the symbols and provide a description.

A waypoint is linked to a route, so once you publish it you will see it on the map. However, you can also create points that are independent of routes. This is useful for example if you want to create a mountain hut or a viewpoint, but not necessarily related to the route you are planning.
