Financial Aid
Financial aid is available to assist students in meeting the cost of their education. This can include tuition, fees, books and supplies.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be submitted to determine eligibility. Other sources of aid include grants, work-study programs and student loans.
In order to receive this aid you must meet the requirements of the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy. Failure to meet these standards can result in placement on a Financial Aid Warning or Financial Aid Suspension.
If a student is placed on Financial Aid Warning for a semester, he/she will be required to meet the SAP policy standards during the following semester in order to remain eligible for financial aid.
Once the overall SAP Policy requirements are met at the end of the probationary semester, the student will be considered in ‘good standing’ (making satisfactory academic progress) and eligible for federal aid starting with the next semester. If a student fails to meet these requirements, they will be placed on Financial Aid Suspension and cannot receive any federal aid until the requirements are again met.
